A graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law, Clay Johnson has gained experience litigating in several different areas of practice. After a business and finance-heavy start to his legal career, he found his way to and settled into the areas of family law and domestic relations. After his tenure with a domestic relations firm in Central Ohio, he worked for six years as Co-Founder and Partner at Johnson & Core LLC. His experience there led to success in representing clients in both criminal and family law.

Clay grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with an Assistant United States Attorney mother and a family medical practitioner father. With their influence, the desire to work for and add value to his community has always been in his blood. Clay strives to be strategic, relatable, and collaborative with his clients, and he is always focused on reaching the best outcome possible for his clients. Clay’s experience in family law, civil litigation, business law, and criminal defense, as well as his experience with both bench and jury trials, gives him a unique perspective and exceptional judgment, enabling him to perform at a high level for his clients.

Outside of practicing law, Clay enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, and grilling.
