A dedicated lifelong learner, she balances her professional and personal life with curiosity and compassion. Her background includes a Juris Doctor from the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Denison University. She also brings experience in mediation and neutral evaluations, skills that have become invaluable in handling complex cases with impartiality and integrity.

When she steps away from the bench, Kit embraces her love of the outdoors, whether she’s hiking in Colorado, at the beach in Florida, spending time with her grandchildren in Alabama, or experimenting with a new recipe in her kitchen. Family, friends and her dogs Latte and Skye are central to her life.
